Obasanjo wants to go to heaven and sing with angels

Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has announced his desire to go to heaven and sing with angels after participating in a musical concert.

The former army general told worshipers at a concert organized by Apostolic Faith Church Choir and Orchestral in Ogun, a southwestern state that he anticipates that heaven will be an exciting place to be.

“If this is an example of what praising God in heaven will be like, then I want to be part of it. If what I have seen here is an indication of how heaven will be, I will like go to heaven”.

Obasanjo also took time to comment on current happenings in Nigeria by saying We have a lot of things wrong with this country, if all Nigerians are sincere”.

“Nigeria can be fixed by God but we have to invite Him into our lives. What we have to do about this country is in our hands,” he added.

The 80 year old former president also called on Nigerians to unite and deal with the current challenges facing the country.

The former president was voted into office in 1999 and won a second term in 2013. He first ruled Nigeria as a military ruler from 1976 to 1979.

There were agitations when he attempted to change his country’s constitution to allow him stand for a third term.
