The military in Nigeria has announced on Saturday that it has found one of the Chibok school girls abducted by the militant group, Boko Haram.

The girl, Maryam Ali Maiyanga found with a 10 month old baby is one of the over 200 schoolgirls captured by Boko Haram from their school in Chibok two years ago.

Nigerian army spokesman, Sani Usman said the girl was found by soldiers who were screening escapees from a Boko Haram base in the Sambisa forest in Borno State.

21 of the abducted girls were released last month by Boko Haram after a deal with the Nigerian government brokered by the International Red Cross and the Swiss government.
