Romelu Lukaku has reportedly begged Manchester United to lower his transfer fee so he can complete his transfer to Inter Milan.

United have already rejected a bid of £54million from Inter and it is understood the club are holding out for a fee of around £80m.

However, according to The Sun, Lukaku has asked United to lower their demands to around £65m in order for him to seal a move to the Serie A giants.

The Belgian, who on Saturday teased fans by posting a picture alongside his agent Federico Pastorello, is also a target for Juventus.

The Sun also report that United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given Lukaku four days off so that he can finalise his transfer.

If the striker cannot secure his move to either Inter or Juventus within the four-day deadline, Solskjaer will be forced to reintegrate him back into the squad.

It is understood Lukaku’s first choice is to link up with Antonio Conte at Inter, however he would also be open to a move to Juve.

He joined United for £75m two years ago and has scored 42 goals in 96 games for the club.
