‘I’m not afraid of jail,’ – Jacob Zuma

The South African President, Jacob Zuma has said that he isn’t afraid of going to jail.

He told his supporters in Kwa-Zulu Natal Province on Saturday that “I’m not scared of jail. I’ve been to jail during the struggle”

Mr. Zuma has come under a litany of criticisms following a report indicting him of corruption.

Following the release of the report from the South African anti-corruption watchdog, thousands of South Africans marched on the streets to demand for Mr.. Zuma’s resignation.

South Africa’s parliament is to debate a vote of no-confidence motion against Mr. Zuma on November 10.

Mr. Zuma denies providing special favors for wealthy friends.
