Grace Mugabe complains of ill-treatment under Mnangagwa

Grace Mugabe, wife of former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has reportedly complained about treatment being meted out to her family, businesses and allies since the exit of her husband from power.

Local media The Zimbabwe Independent reported that the former first lady of Zimbabwe made these complaints behind the scene and is yet to be heard speaking about these issues publicly.

Grace Mugabe’s quest to become President and succeeding her husband sparked series of political shake-ups leading to military takeover and eventual resignation of her husband from office.

The wife of Robert Mugabe has been at logger heads with current President Emmerson Mnangagwa and now says since he became president, her businesses are under threat.

Grace’s has an empire of businesses including a huge double-storey mansion, a dairy farm, an orphanage and a school with further plans of building a university.

The Zimbabwe Independent claimed Robert Mugabe was reportedly $10 million, full monthly salary, medical cover, security and protection for his family was part of the deal that led to his resignation.

President Mugabe, his wife Grace and her son Russell are still living in the southern African country.
