Salah included in Egypt World Cup squad

Mohamed Salah has been included in Egypt’s World Cup squad as he hopes to continue with rehabilitation for the global tournament.

Salah was injured in the Champions League final which his club Liverpool lost to Real Madrid, but there were fears he would not be fit enough for the World Cup.

Egypt announced its world cup squad on Monday  ahead of its opening fixture against Uruguay on 15 June.

Egypt will also play host nation Russia on 19 June and end its Group A campaign against Saudi Arabia on 25 June.
