Senegal and Algeria dominate AFCON Bext XI

Algeria and Senegal players dominated the just ended AFCON 2019 championship Best XI.

The team however has the winner of the AFCON 2019 golden boot, OdionIghalo who helped Nigeria to a third-place finish in Egypt.

Algeria were the winners of the competition, winning the trophy for the second time on Friday.

Senegal lost the final by a goal to nil, failing to win the trophy once again as their wait for their first AFCON title continues.

The best eleven team selected by CAF had runners-up Senegal having the highest number of players making the cut with five places.

Algeria’s coach Djamel Belmadi won the coach of the tournament following his team’s victory in Egypt.
