Ghanaian musician Kofi Boakye Yiadom, known in showbiz as Kofi B has died after performing at a concert in the central part of the country.
The singer reportedly started complaining of chest pains and unusual heartbeat after his performance at a concert in the town of Cape Coast.
Health officials said when he was rushed to the hospital, he was sweating and vomiting.
Despite efforts to keep him alive the singer died at 3 am local time on Sunday.
Kofi B has celebrated in Ghana as being among those who contributed to Ghanaian highlife genre.
On social media, Ghanaians have been reacting to his death.
