Ronaldinho turns rapper, releases song against corruption

On the football field Brazil’s Ronaldinho was a magician who delighted lovers of the sports. But since retiring from the sports, he has been trying a few new things.

Ronaldinho has now found a new passion in music after releasing a new song that focuses on fighting corruption.

The ex-footballer who is now a rapper released his new song along with Brazilian singer Jorge Vercillo.

Ronaldinho has always loved music and during his footballing career was seen singing and playing musical instruments.

In his latest music video the ex-football star plays drums, then breaks out in a 30-second rap solo.

“Love is our game, from start to finish, in my heart there are no longer enemies,” Ronaldinho raps.

Ronahldinho in the video also asked an armor-clad Christian saint to slay “the dragon of greed” and corruption.

The music’s chorus bemoans the squandering of public funds in detriment of “schools and hospitals.”

Ronaldinho retired from playing professional football in January 2018.

He played for some of the world’s most glamorous football clubs including Barcelona, PSG and AC Milan.

Ronaldinho supported the far-right PRB party last year and threw his support behind their candidate Jair Bolsonaro who promised to fight corruption.
