Hundreds of men on Tuesday marched through some streets in South Africa’s capital, Pretoria calling for an end to violence against women and children.
Some women and young people also turned up for the march dubbed #100MenMarch.
The demonstrators marched to the Union Buildings in Pretoria pledging their support for an end to violence against women and children.
Participants came from government departments, churches, sports teams and community groupings.
Government and various civil society organisations in South Africa organized the march to support President Cyril Ramaphosa’s “Thuma Mina (Send Me)” campaign.
The President’s campaign called for people to show commitment to ending violence and abuse in their homes and communities.
There were chants of “no means no” from some of the protesters during the march.
The #100MenMarch is also part of the centenary celebrations for former President Nelson Mandela and struggle stalwart Albertina Sisulu.

Women continue to suffer abuse across South Africa. Many of them are killed under various circumstances.
Another march will take place on Friday in Pietermaritzburg, according to the government.
