A study conducted by LELO.com carried out research to identify the top 10 countries with the best sex education. Initially, countries where sex education is obligatory were identified.

The study then collected data on education levels, STDs, teenage pregnancy, and abortion rates for each country.

The composite score was then calculated to rank the countries in descending order. Additionally, information regarding the start of sex education in each country was added for context.

Poland tops the list of countries with the best sex education, with a composite score of 67.1. The quality of sex education in Poland contributes to having one of the lowest STD rates and second-lowest abortion rates on the list, highlighting the success of comprehensive sex education here.
The 2nd place on the list of countries with the best sex education is secured by Austria, with a score of 60.4. Austria proves that quality education directly correlates with lower teenage pregnancy, STD, and abortion rates.
Cyprus claims the 3rd spot on the list with a score of 57.7. It stands out for having the lowest abortion rates on the list, showing the effectiveness of its educational programs in promoting health and well-being. Additionally, Cyprus demonstrates low STD and teenage pregnancy rates, highlighting the success of its comprehensive sex education.
Malta ranks 4th, with a composite score of 51.5. The country stands out for its low STD and abortion rates, yet it encounters a challenge with its teenage pregnancy rate.
With a composite score of 46.2, Germany holds the 5th position on the list of countries with the best sex education. Germany’s commitment to comprehensive sex education influences low STD and abortion rates in the country, yet facing a bit of a hiccup with higher abortion rates.
