Five female police officers in Ghana have been punished for putting up a sexy outlook, a video of which went viral on social media.
The officers were wearing their police beret with an attractive and beautiful tube apparel outfit.
They looked beautiful in the jumpsuits while serving as bridesmaids for one of their colleagues this month.
But soon after the video of them singing in the outfit came public, the Police Administration has imposed a sanction on them.
The five are police constables, namely Diana Kumi, Lydia Adu, Agnes Kyere, Winifred Aboagyewaa and Barbara Botchway.
During their period of punishment they will be expected to perform their regular police duties.
The officers are to serve their punishment at a Police Training School for eight weeks.
As part of the punishment the officers will be enlightened on the police service’s Uniform Code, Police Code of Ethics and the Ramifications of the use of social media.
The police officers have reportedly apologised to the IGP and the police service for their conduct.
