On March 25 the Clarence House confirmed that the Prince of Wales had tested positive for coronavirus.

Prince Charles, 71, was reported to be displaying mild symptoms and was “in good health”.

The Duchess of Cornwall, 72, who was also tested did not have the virus.

According to the Clarence House Charles and Camilla were self-isolating at Balmoral.

But just after spending some seven days in isolation, the Prince of Wales is now reported to be free of the virus and out of self-isolation.

The Duchess of Cornwall is however still in self-isolation until the end of the week.

A Palace official said the prince was in good health and was following the government’s restrictions.

“Clarence House has confirmed today that, having consulted with his doctor, the Prince of Wales is now out of self-isolation,” a spokesman said.

Ideally health experts advise that patients stay in isolation for 14 days which was not the case of Prince Charles.

Many are happy the prince has recovered but the speed with which is getting out of isolation has shocked many on social media.

Some even expressed doubt over the earlier claim that the prince tested positive for the virus.

Other considered the news of he contracting the virus as merely promotional to calm nerves in the UK.

Some users even went further to wonder if the UK government has a cure for the virus.
